About The Position

Requirements

• Bachelor of Engineering degree in mining, electrical, civil, industrial, or mechanical engineering.
• Ability to analyze and develop insights from complex operational data.
• Demonstrated leadership and adaptation skills.
• Willingness to work in a remote environment on both surface and underground.
• Prior experience in mining, including internships, is preferred.
• Willingness to work various shifts as determined by management.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with project management skills acquired through participation in projects.
• Understanding of operations improvement principles.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operations of continuous improvement at the mine site.
• Oversee, supervise, and roll out continuous improvement initiatives based on engineering methods and standards.
• Plan and supervise construction, rehabilitation, or production projects to facilitate mine activities.
• Conduct time studies and make recommendations to improve production standards based on evaluated data.
• Identify performance gaps and conduct diagnostics to determine opportunities for improvement.
