Responsibilities

• Apply engineering principles to diverse assignments and projects.
• Ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded.
• Adhere to safety, environmental, security, and quality requirements.
• Develop new approaches to complex engineering problems.
• Lead projects to advance technological capabilities.
• Investigate and interpret technology and business trends.
• Evaluate and implement new technologies of significant scope.
• Originate and review engineering documentation such as protocols and reports.
• Plan and develop engineering projects with significant impact.
• Lead cross-functional teams and influence others to achieve goals.
• Supervise and mentor technicians and associate engineers.
• Initiate and maintain relationships within and outside the organization.
• Champion quality within the engineering discipline.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering or related technical field; Master's or Doctorate preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive engineering experience; 15+ years of relevant experience may substitute for education.
• Strong technical and problem-solving foundation.
• Training and certifications in problem-solving and project management methodologies such as 6-Sigma, 8D, RCA, and PMP.
• Ability to lead team activities and coach less experienced associates.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with FDA regulations and Quality Management Systems (QMS).
• Familiarity with manufacturing excellence principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
