About the position

Tiffany & Co. is seeking an Engineer - IT Compliance to join our security team. This role is part of a diverse team of Engineers tasked with maintaining and improving the compliance posture of the organization. The individual in this position will drive resolutions to control-related matters, proactively identify regulatory or security gaps, collaborate with vendors and IT peers to tackle governance-related matters, and ensure that the IT organization aligns with various security standards and frameworks. This position provides an excellent opportunity to make impactful contributions in a high-profile environment, where the focus is on enhancing the security and compliance measures of the organization. The responsibilities of this role include working closely with IT Risk Management to prioritize risks throughout the organization, participating in IT initiatives to resolve control issues, and developing, implementing, and leading Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) to improve IT compliance across the organization. The Engineer will assist management with annual roadmap planning to identify regulatory or compliance-related needs, conduct scans with cyber-attack surface management tools to discover potential IT-related issues, and collaborate with IT teams and Internal Audit to ensure that IT configurations are aligned with Tiffany Policies, Standards, or various security frameworks. Additionally, the role involves conducting control testing on different systems to collect evidence and report results/findings to the IT Compliance Manager. The Engineer will also find opportunities to improve reporting and evidence collections through automation or scripting, and update internal compliance inventories and documentation as needed. This position requires a proactive approach to identifying issues, strong collaborative skills, and the ability to work across a wide variety of IT products, while effectively communicating compliance requirements to other IT peers.

Responsibilities

  • Work with IT Risk Management to prioritize risks throughout the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience working in IT security/compliance roles.
  • An understanding of industry standards such as PCI DSS and GDPR.
  • Knowledge about protecting PII data.
  • Demonstrated ability conducting risk assessments, audits, or similar compliance-related tasks.
  • Experience supporting and understanding security technologies, products, and programs related to Change Monitoring, Data Loss Prevention, Malware Protection, Log and Event Management, and Vulnerability Scanning.

  • Security Certifications: CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, or CCSP.
  • Project Certification: PMP, CAMP, PgMP or Project+.
