Responsibilities

• Analyze and develop materials for engineering design and application.
• Research and optimize fabrication and application processes for materials.
• Develop material properties and design allowables, processing processes, and quality engineering specifications.
• Conduct failure analysis of components, systems, and subsystems.
• Review and approve subcontractor material processing procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program and 5 years of relevant exempt experience;
• Master's Degree and 3 years of relevant professional experience;
• Ph.D. and 0 years of experience.
