About the position

The Engineer, Product Applications role at Analog Devices, Inc. involves designing platform solutions and developing customer-facing collateral to support the integration of advanced analog, mixed-signal, and digital signal processing technologies. This position requires engaging with customers to translate their system requirements into product definitions and providing technical training and support throughout the product lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Design of platform solutions (hardware & software) for application investigation, product evaluation, demonstration systems and reference designs
  • Development of customer facing collateral including datasheets, application notes and technical articles
  • Engage with customers to translate their system requirements into next generation product definitions
  • Conduct product/application technical training for field personnel and customers
  • Guiding customers through system integration, troubleshooting and testing
  • Act as a technical liaison between customers, marketing, design and development teams

Requirements

  • BS Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
  • Strong knowledge of analog, digital and mixed-signal fundamentals
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to form creative and collaborative partnerships with customers
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Strong teamwork and inter-personal skills

Nice-to-haves

  • Printed circuit board design experience and exposure to PCB design tools
  • Proficiency in LabView, Python scripting and C/C++ software programming
