About the position

The Applications Engineer role at Analog Devices focuses on providing technical support for innovative power products across various markets. The position involves collaboration with engineering teams and customers to ensure successful product integration and optimization, while also developing customer-facing materials and conducting technical training.

Responsibilities

• Product validation and evaluation, application investigation, demonstration systems and reference designs
• Development of customer facing collateral including evaluation boards, design tools, simulation models, presentations, and technical articles
• Guiding customers through system integration, optimization, troubleshooting and testing
• Conduct product/application technical training for FAEs and customers
• Engage with customers and the sales organization to translate their requirements into next generation product ideas
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to solve challenge problems.

Requirements

• Good understanding of analog circuitry, DC-DC converter topologies, and control theory
• Hands-on experiences with analysis, design, and debug skills on power converters
• Familiarity with common PCB design tools and circuit simulation tools
• Well organized and detailed-oriented person
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
• Established capability for independent thinking and problem solving.
