About the position

The Production Engineer at Venture Global LNG will be responsible for optimizing the availability and performance of the Calcasieu Pass Facility LNG Liquefaction Trains. This role involves setting production targets, developing production plans, and engaging with various teams to ensure efficient operations. The engineer will also analyze performance data, identify improvement initiatives, and manage production loss events to enhance overall facility performance.

Responsibilities

• Set CP Facility LNG Trains Production daily targets and define operating limits.
• Engage with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering to develop the Production Plan for the day.
• Build and maintain real-time surveillance and monitoring models to optimize LNG Trains' availability and performance.
• Perform analysis to detect deviations from live operating envelope limits and identify necessary actions.
• Identify short-, medium-, and long-term availability and reliability improvement initiatives.
• Identify production risks impacting availability and reliability and develop mitigation plans.
• Provide input to weekly and monthly production reviews and follow up on required actions.
• Identify production loss events and engage with stakeholders to manage them.
• Lead or participate in Engineering Investigation Requests (EIRs) and Management of Change (MoCs) to improve performance.
• Gather assumptions on LNG Trains performance for forecasting and planning processes.
• Support the Long-Term Service Agreement (LTSA) process with required input and analysis.
• Develop Integrated Production Excellence standards and procedures.
• Capture lessons learned and provide input to other Venture Global LNG projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Process, Production/Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Production Engineer with a track record of production performance improvement.
• Oil and Gas experience is required, preferably in LNG, but experience in petrochemical, NGL, cryogenic natural gas processing, or other hydrocarbon processing may be acceptable.
