About the position

The RF Engineering Section is focused on Electronic Warfare programs that involve RF/antenna design, system/hardware design, and communications signal processing engineering. The role supports system engineering design, hardware development, and testing functions, participating in the development of Direction Finding, Signal Acquisition, and Electronic Warfare systems.

Responsibilities

  • Perform system engineering functions including design, development, testing, and support of RF subsystems for communications applications.
  • Assist with RF and antenna engineering and modeling for communication signal acquisition and electronic warfare applications.
  • Prepare technical documents, engineering drawings, and support proposal preparations.
  • Directly interface with senior engineering staff and customers to convey technical information clearly and accurately.
  • Participate in internal research programs involving RF/antenna and communications signal processing technology.
  • Engage in short-term travel to government facilities and military bases for technical meetings and system installation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
  • 0-5 years of experience/knowledge in RF and antenna systems, communications system design/testing, and communications signal processing.
  • Familiarity with MATLAB, Linux, and C/C++.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • 0-5 years of experience/knowledge in computer electronics, system networking, and hardware integration.
  • 0-5 years of experience/knowledge in RF and antenna modeling using WIPL-D and/or FEKO.
  • 0-5 years of proficiency with RF test equipment for measuring RF performance parameters.
