About the position

The RF Engineer III position is a remote role focused on ensuring compliance and accuracy in RF engineering tasks. The engineer will be responsible for reviewing site closeout packages, generating RF propagation plots, and preparing necessary zoning and regulatory filings. This role requires a self-starter with strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently while collaborating with team members.

Responsibilities

• Review site close out packages and site sweep/PIM results for accuracy.
• Update databases with necessary information.
• Create site design RFDS and complete plumbing diagrams.
• Generate RF propagation plots for review when required.
• Utilize propagation tools and other RF related software for site candidate comparison, propagation and coverage review, zoning and regulatory.
• Prepare necessary zoning/regulatory filings for sites ensuring compliance is met.
• Attend zoning meetings for assigned area as required.
• Ensure 100% regulatory requirements are met in every phase of design project.
• Conduct RFE analysis, generate required reports and documents, and ensure compliance to RFE mitigation standards.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with ATOLL, Roofview and/or RoofMaster, Google Earth / .kml import.
• Familiarity with FCC ASR and ULS databases.
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite (advanced level).
• Knowledge of Tableau and MapInfo thematic map creation.
• Experience with PIM mitigation techniques and Return Loss and Cable Loss calculations.
• Sweep measurement expertise and database management.
• Functional knowledge of 4G/5G Wireless Systems.
