About the position

The RF Engineer position focuses on supporting the deployment of 5G technology across the Kansas, Missouri, Montana, and Idaho markets. The role involves designing, managing, and enhancing RF projects to improve network density and capacity, including the integration of new RF sources and modifications to existing networks.

Responsibilities

• Support the regional RF team in design, creation, and management of RF projects to enhance 5G density and support capacity needs.
• Design and finalize RF Data Sheets.
• Review/select candidates and work directly with RE/SP on prioritizing candidates.
• Attend necessary implementation meetings prior to site walk.
• Conduct site walks on the best candidate and finalize all details.
• Complete tasks in Fuze under Candidate Selection.
• Finalize Modification and Carrier Add Designs.
• Complete tasks under RFDS Selection including adding final design.
• Complete CQ and Atoll final Updates/911 Submission.
• Complete outstanding regulatory items and documents as needed.
• Assign Cell ID and PCIs for macro/small cells and enter into Atoll and CQ.
• Submit E911 and check the accuracy of Atoll prior to submitting.
• Activate and close out projects, reviewing closeout documents to confirm project design. Activate in all tools as needed, especially in Atoll.

Requirements

• Atoll expertise
• Minimum of 3 years RF Design Experience
• Experience with tools: Fuze SPM, Fuze Planning, and Fuze Reporting
• Some data analytics experience using Excel/Tableau
• BS Degree or equivalent work experience in RF Engineering
