About the position
Do you enjoy investigation and problem solving? Interested in natural resources and manufacturing? This is a fast-paced position providing engineering solutions to environmental challenges. Qualified Engineers/Scientists help manage the Company's manufacturing facilities' stormwater compliance programs in California, Oregon, and Washington.
Responsibilities
- Assist in development of stormwater maintenance plan
- Develop list of stormwater components
- Review manufacturer manuals and catalogue relevant specifications
- List component maintenance frequencies
- Prepare standard operating procedures for maintenance tasks
- Develop work orders for equipment maintenance
- Coordinate with team to update drawings and stormwater plans
Requirements
- College-level course work in engineering or natural science
- Knowledge of database design desirable
- Willing to learn and operate in database system
- Ability to work with code a plus
- Knowledgeable with spreadsheets
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent critical thinking and writing skills
- Thorough and organized
