About the position

Enterprise Products Partners L.P. is seeking a Senior Control Engineer to join our team, focusing on the design and support of process control systems for our refined products and petrochemical pipeline areas. This role is critical in ensuring the efficiency and safety of our operations, which include a vast network of pipelines and storage facilities across North America. The Senior Control Engineer will be responsible for providing engineering and technical support for process control systems and instrumentation, ensuring that our systems meet industry standards and operational requirements. In this position, the Senior Control Engineer will provide guidance and support for process control project scope and estimates, working closely with local operations to ensure that all systems are functioning optimally. The successful candidate will leverage their extensive experience in process control to enhance our operational capabilities and contribute to the overall success of our projects. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including operations teams and contractors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, with a focus on process control systems, and will be expected to stay current with industry trends and technologies. Responsibilities

  • Design and support process control related systems for refined products and petrochemical pipeline areas.
  • Provide engineering and technical support for process control systems and instrumentation.
  • Guide and support process control project scope and estimates.
  • Assist local operations with process control systems.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a B.S. degree in engineering.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in implementation of process control and related systems in storage and pipeline (crude, natural gas liquid and gas).
  • Working knowledge of industry standards for documentation, loop tuning, safety systems, and PLC configuration.
  • Configuration experience in various HMI and PLC platforms.
  • Experience with development of applications in Wonderware Intouch HMI and Allen Bradley Control Logix PLCs.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs and climb a ladder.
  • Effective communication skills with all levels within the organization, both verbally and in writing.
