About the position

The position involves leading and managing the technical aspects of complex structural engineering projects within a well-respected design and construction company. The candidate will be responsible for developing advanced structural designs, conducting field assessments, and addressing construction challenges while collaborating with project managers, design engineers, and contractors to ensure project success and compliance with standards.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of ten years of relevant experience in structural engineering.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is required.
• Structural Engineer (S.E.) license is a plus.
• LEED certification is a plus.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's degree in a related field.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Knowledge of internal software used in the company.
• Familiarity with ADAPT PT, SP Column, ETABS, RISA3D, SAP2000, or similar programs.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and other CAD software.
• Experience with Bluebeam Revu or similar PDF viewing software.
• Curiosity and ability to learn new software.
