About the position

The System Engineer Sr for Simulation and System Labs at Lockheed Martin is responsible for the integration of Mission Systems into a lab environment that supports aircraft capabilities and functions. This role involves developing lab requirements, executing integration activities, and evaluating mission systems functionality, requiring a strong technical background and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute lab system procedures supporting testing of sequential software builds.
• Understand and perform job duties using principles and disciplines of lab engineering including policy, procedures, process discipline, operations, safety, and command media support.
• Support validation and verification of lab design and requirements.
• Support the development of test scripts, procedures, test processes, and execution.
• Review and evaluate data to confirm that results meet the requirements.
• Document anomalies found during execution and support troubleshooting to resolve all issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field; or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with systems engineering, integration, and lab environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in one of the computer languages (LabVIEW, Python, C/C++, XML) for developing automated test scripts.
• Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems, electronics schematic drawing, and cable harnesses fabrication.
• Experience in a test and requirements verification environment and using JIRA for tracking.
• Experience in Test Operations including test development process, test execution, data analysis, anomaly resolution, and using electrical test equipment such as oscilloscopes, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and digital multi-meters.
• Ability to maintain process discipline in a dynamic and agile environment.
• Demonstrated basic understanding of systems integration and test.
• Excellent technical writing, planning, and interpersonal skills.
