About the position

The Engineer Systems position at Northrop Grumman involves performing technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, and analyses for total systems within the Command and Control, Communication and Computer Missile Defense (C4MD) Business Unit. The role requires translating customer requirements into hardware and software specifications while ensuring compliance with technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Responsibilities

• Perform technical planning and system integration for total systems.
• Conduct verification and validation analyses for system effectiveness.
• Analyze system requirements and translate them into specifications.
• Perform functional analysis and timeline analysis for system architecture.
• Conduct detail trade studies and requirements allocation.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree with 2 years of experience or a Master's degree with 0 years of experience.
• Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering.
• Proficiency in Cameo or MagicDraw.
• Ability to develop and decompose System Architecture and Requirements in a model-based environment.
• Active Secret clearance.

Nice-to-haves

• Technical experience with Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) systems.
• Experience in an Agile systems engineering environment.
• Familiarity with Requirements Impact Assessments and Engineering Change Proposals.
• Experience with Jira and Link-16.
• Knowledge of weapon systems and sensors such as PATRIOT, Sentinel, and G/ATOR.
