About the position

The Engineer - Systems Testing position at AI Signal Research, Inc. (ASRI) is a critical role focused on providing Program Test and Evaluation Support for the Range Test Engineering mission and Special Projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, management, or technology, with a preference for a BS degree in these fields. However, candidates with six years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education. This position requires a hands-on approach, involving fieldwork, running instrumentation, troubleshooting, and integration of various systems. The role also demands a willingness to travel, including mission support on a vessel at sea, which is essential for the successful execution of complex projects. The candidate will be expected to work collaboratively within a team environment, demonstrating a track record of supporting complex projects. Experience in the concept design and engineering, as well as test and evaluation of weapon systems components, subsystems, and systems, is crucial. Requirements

  • BS Degree in Engineering, Management or Technology preferred, or six years related experience in lieu of education.
  • Three years of relevant experience.
  • U.S. Citizenship and Security Clearance required.
  • Hands-on experience with fieldwork, running instrumentation, troubleshooting, and integration.
  • Experience in dealing with concept design and engineering, and test and evaluation of weapon systems components, subsystems, and systems.
  • Ability to work as a team player and support complex projects.

Nice-to-haves

  • Navy and/or Marine Corps related experience is preferred.
