About the position

The Palantir Lead Data Engineer role at Cognizant focuses on leveraging advanced AI and data analytics to enhance business processes and decision-making. The position requires extensive experience with Palantir Foundry and involves working directly with clients to develop and implement AI-driven applications. The engineer will be responsible for creating efficient data architectures, integrating data sources, and delivering production solutions that utilize advanced prediction models and machine learning techniques.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with clients to define and document data requirements for integration and business intelligence applications.
• Deliver Palantir AIP models and applications according to Gen AI use cases, incorporating advanced prediction models or agentic AI blueprints.
• Analyze data and data pipelines to identify trends and areas for improvement in product quality and customer service.
• Create plans to decommission network elements without affecting network capability and manage the removal of elements from offices.
• Enable third-party integrations that require network and proprietary knowledge to write logic and create programs for decommissioning legacy applications.
• Document the capabilities of Palantir Foundry for new use cases enabled by enhancements to the ontology.
• Build full-stack use cases from concept to production application using DEEP Palantir Foundry features.

Requirements

• 10 to 15 years of experience in data engineering and analytics.
• Proven experience with Palantir AI Architect and Palantir Foundry.
• Strong coding experience in programming languages such as Python, Java, TypeScript, or JavaScript.
• Ability to deliver production solutions with Gen AI data processing pipelines and advanced analytics tools.
• Strong foundation in machine learning basics, evaluation, training, and problem decomposition.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with large language models (LLMs) and traditional machine learning models.
• Familiarity with workflow automation and orchestration on Palantir Foundry.
