About the position
We are seeking an experienced DevSecOps Engineer to join our agile software development team, which focuses on building mission-critical applications for the Intelligence Community. The role involves managing Kubernetes/OpenShift environments, AWS infrastructure, and ensuring the security and quality of code through various scans and automation processes.
Responsibilities
- Manage Kubernetes/OpenShift environment, resources, and deployments across multiple networks and environments.
- Build, maintain, and improve Helm charts and Jenkins pipelines for multiple enterprise mission-critical applications across multiple domains.
- Manage AWS infrastructure and design new cloud solutions and architectures.
- Run and manage cybersecurity, code quality, and accreditation scans.
- Oversee and execute builds, deployments, packaging, integration, automation, and releases.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate system and environment performance and availability.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, e.g. Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of professional experience in a DevSecOps, DevOps, or Production System Support role.
- Experience creating and managing Jenkins builds and pipelines in development and production environments.
- Familiarity with Git/GitHub/GitLab as part of a CI/CD pipeline.
- Strong Linux and bash scripting skills.
- DoD 8570 IAT II and Privileged User Access requirements met (Security+, CySA+, CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP), or the ability to achieve within 30 days of hire.
- Agile/Scrum experience.
- Familiarity with Java/Spring, Python, and Web Development.
