The position at Leo A Daly Company involves leading engineering efforts by identifying subject matter experts, coordinating with various directors, and driving business development opportunities. Responsibilities

• Identify discipline Subject Matter Experts specific to markets and technical experience across all engineering studios.
• Coordinate with studio Ops Directors and National Director of Engineering on work sharing and recruiting coordination as required.
• Identify engineering business development opportunities across studios such as speaking/publishing opportunities, client outreach, and project identification.
• Work with National Director of Engineering on setting strategic goals for discipline growth and best practice advancement.
• Attend client meetings and communicate with clients, consultants, contractors, and others during various stages of project development.
• Perform marketing and business development activities including building relationships with key clients and strategic partners, proposal writing, fee estimates, and client interviews.

Requirements

• 6+ years licensed experience in engineering or architectural engineering.
• 5+ years of team management experience.
• ABET-accredited degree in Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
• Registered Professional Engineer required.
• Demonstrated practical knowledge of codes and related industry standards.
• Production experience preparing deliverable drawing sets in Revit and AutoCAD required.
• Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency using industry standard calculation software required.
• Self-motivated team player with strong interpersonal, communication, writing, and presentation skills.
• Ability to deal with competing priorities and manage time appropriately.
