About the position

This role is with the End User Computing group supporting both Windows and Mac operating systems. The primary focus of the role is on Mac OS. The candidate will be responsible for integration, support, roadmap execution, and assisting in the planning of macOS in an enterprise environment. The position requires administering JAMF and providing end-user MacOS support, including the creation of packages, scripts, and profiles necessary to deploy Mac applications and policies. Troubleshooting and testing application packages and policies, as well as hardware support and deploying Mac OS in JAMF, are also key responsibilities. The role involves working in a cross-functional environment where verbal and written communication is important, and incident management duties include troubleshooting hardware and software issues across all platforms supported by End User Computing. Proven experience working under tight deadlines and pressure is essential.

Responsibilities

• Support both Windows and Mac operating systems with a primary focus on Mac OS.
• Administer JAMF and provide end-user MacOS support.
• Create packages, scripts, and profiles for deploying Mac applications and policies.
• Troubleshoot and test application packages and policies.
• Provide hardware support and deploy Mac OS in JAMF.
• Manage incidents by troubleshooting hardware and software issues across all platforms.
• Work in a cross-functional environment requiring effective verbal and written communication.

Requirements

• MacOS management in an enterprise environment.
• MacOS scripting and packaging experience.
• Infrastructure management and desktop administration skills.
• Knowledge of networking concepts.
• Experience with JAMF Pro/JAMF Cloud.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Zero Trust concepts.
• Windows desktop administration experience.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft System Center Configuration Management (SCCM).
• Ability to view and read Windows and SCCM log files.
• Experience performing remote administration.
• PowerShell experience.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow (preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
