About the position
The Engineer position at Cross Resource Group involves participating in the planning, design, development, and verification of systems solutions. The role focuses on utilizing Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) to support architecture and requirements development, ensuring proper flow down and traceability of system requirements across hardware and software components. The engineer will implement verification and validation processes, including the creation of test plans, schedules, and documentation, to ensure successful execution and requirements closeout.
Responsibilities
- Participate in planning, designing, developing, and verifying systems solutions.
- Utilize Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) for architecture and requirements development.
- Implement verification and validation of system requirements with proper flow down and traceability.
- Develop verification, validation, and test plans and schedules, procedures, and documentation.
- Execute requirements closeout.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE), Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering (ME), or a directly related Engineering degree.
- 7+ years of experience in systems engineering.
- Knowledge of DoD acquisition processes and system program office operations.
- Experience in system architecture, requirements, interface development, allocation, verification and validation (V&V), risk management, integration, and test.
- Experience in systems engineering performing system architecture development, systems integration, or hardware and software design and analysis.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must have a Secret Clearance.
