About the position

The Engineering Administrator plays a crucial role within the Engineering department at Hubbell Power Systems, primarily responsible for managing production order details, facilitating procurement processes, and maintaining vendor relationships. This position supports both the Littleton and Lincoln NH Burndy facilities and reports directly to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the purchase of goods and equipment as specified by the engineering department.
  • Manage vendor account information including COIs, points of contact, and payment terms.
  • Work with engineering to analyze, create, and revise bill of materials (BOM) and routings for product production.
  • Create, track, and receive purchase orders to ensure timely ordering and delivery of purchased goods.
  • Maintain proper tracking documentation related to various engineering projects.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Prior experience with data entry, database management, reporting, and compliance analysis desired.
  • Proficient with SAP production software.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate and build relationships with vendors.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
