About the position
The Engineering Analyst III position at Ai Signal Research, Inc. involves serving as an unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) operator responsible for conducting developmental testing of unmanned aircraft. The role includes providing flight support for Counter UAS testing, directly supporting the U.S. Army Redstone Test Center's test and evaluation mission.
Responsibilities
- Conduct developmental testing of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS).
- Provide UAS flight support for Counter UAS testing.
- Ensure data integrity and quality during testing processes.
- Analyze results of tests and present findings to team members and management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline and six years of relevant experience, or an Associate's Degree with eight years of experience, or ten years of applicable experience, or ten years of applicable military experience.
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance.
- Experience analyzing results of tests and providing statistical analysis.
Nice-to-haves
- 3-5 years of Radio-Controlled (RC) experience with fixed wing and multirotor.
- Knowledge and experience with UAS autopilot systems such as Ardupilot and Q Ground Control.
- Experience with Computer Aided Design (CAD) and 3D Printing.
