About the position

As an Engineering/Architectural Project Manager within the Project Management Unit (PMU), you will manage a variety of architectural and engineering projects across the state of Missouri. This role focuses on dynamic project planning, execution, and successful completion while collaborating with a diverse network of stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service. The position offers opportunities for long-term career growth and is part of the Office of Administration Division of Facilities Management, Design, and Construction (OA-FMDC), which is dedicated to innovative design solutions and enhancing the state's investments.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple state-owned projects throughout the planning, design, and construction phases.
• Prioritize excellent customer service for a wide network of internal and external stakeholders.
• Achieve successful project completion by managing the scope, schedule, and budgets of projects.
• Facilitate all aspects of design development by coordinating with stakeholders.
• Develop accurate, comprehensive, and transparent construction bid documents.

Requirements

• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license from Missouri or an adjacent state.
• Ability to communicate, collaborate and lead with integrity.
• Knowledge of the principles and concepts of engineering, architecture, construction, and/or project management.
• Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
• Bachelor of Science in engineering, architecture, construction, or related field.

• Experience in planning, design, and construction.

• Experience in project management software such as e-Builder.
• OSHA 10 and/or 30 certification.
