About the position

The position is focused on the completion of a variety of projects, specifically in planning, managing, and overseeing the execution of strategic projects and executive reporting within the Engineering department. The successful candidate will collaborate with key internal corporate providers, as well as regional and global business and support functions, to ensure progress and alignment with organizational goals. This role requires an excellent ability to manage complex project efforts while building relationships and managing the expectations of project stakeholders and executives. The responsibilities include providing leadership and management across various areas such as executive presentation, dashboard reporting, internal communications, and divisional goals/metrics reporting. The candidate will coordinate projects with internal corporate partners, manage space and facility requirements, and conduct financial analysis. They will also be expected to find creative solutions to unique scenarios by utilizing their knowledge of State Street processes and procedures. Planning and executing projects to ensure that teams meet project objectives, scope, dates, budget, and success criteria is essential. Additionally, the role involves efficiently navigating reports and databases to extract desired information, providing leadership and direction to project teams for accurate and timely execution, and analyzing business processes to identify inefficiencies. The candidate will participate as a representative of the local business unit in regional or global working groups as required, perform reviews, and establish, implement, and document control procedures. They will interpret business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements, as well as write user manuals, training materials, and application support documents as needed. It is crucial for the candidate to keep their specialist knowledge current and share it with team members and the business unit, while proactively identifying and contributing to the evolution of CAO initiatives to ensure best practices, improve efficiency, and reduce risk.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and management for a variety of areas including executive presentation, dashboard reporting, internal communications, divisional goals/metrics reporting, and coordination of projects with internal corporate partners.
  • Manage space and facility requirements and conduct financial analysis.
  • Find creative solutions to unique scenarios by utilizing knowledge of State Street processes and procedures.
  • Plan and execute projects ensuring teams meet project objectives, scope, dates, budget, and success criteria of stakeholders.
  • Efficiently navigate reports and databases to extract desired information.
  • Provide leadership and direction to project teams to ensure accurate and timely execution.
  • Analyze business processes and functions to locate inefficiencies and strategize solutions to drive continuous process improvement initiatives.
  • Participate as a representative of the local business unit in regional or global working groups as required.
  • Perform reviews; establishing, implementing, and documenting control procedures.
  • Interpret business needs and translate into application and operational requirements.
  • Write User Manuals, Training Material, and Application Support Documents as required.
  • Ensure that specialist knowledge is kept current and is shared with other team members and the business unit.
  • Proactively identify and contribute to the evolution of CAO initiatives to ensure best practice, to meet the changing requirements of our constantly changing business, to improve efficiency, and to reduce risk.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of experience in a financial or business analyst role within financial services or consulting
  • Advanced analysis experience with databases and queries including Excel and Access
  • Proven track record in execution and driving results
  • Experience with Project Management Software is a plus
  • Must be comfortable with ambiguity and undefined problems.

Benefits

  • Salary Range: $90,000 - $142,500 Annual
