About The Position

The Engineering Data Coordinator plays a crucial role in creating and maintaining items, routings, and bills of material within the Oracle ERP system. This position supports R&D Engineers and Project Teams by managing documentation for experimental and newly released products, while also assisting the Engineering Manager in enhancing departmental efficiencies through effective engineering documentation and procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of related job experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Familiar with ERP software, preferably Oracle.
• Knowledge of ERP data management, including Item Type Templates, Bills of Materials, and Routers.
• Ability to perform mass uploads to update ERP data elements.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently to meet deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Commitment to continuous improvement.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with data analysis and summarization using Excel.
• Familiarity with engineering documentation and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain items, routings, and bills of material in the Oracle ERP system.
• Assist R&D Engineers and Project Teams with bills of material for experimental and newly released products.
• Coordinate communication across all departments to complete item set-ups and regular ERP data maintenance.
• Update ERP data for other departments as needed.
• Determine the appropriate item template with guidance from others.
• Document results and findings clearly in written form.
• Promote safety rules and regulations and support 5S initiatives.
