The Engineering Design Change Manager at Fluor Corp. is responsible for providing technical oversight and leadership in organizing, executing, and coordinating complex Process Technology project assignments. This role may involve overseeing a team of engineers and specialists to develop detailed drawings and specifications for various project phases, including study, feasibility, Front End Engineering Development (FEED), and Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication, and Construction (EPFC). The manager will be tasked with developing Process Technology Quality Plans for small to moderate-sized projects and will also oversee Process Activity Plans for moderate to intermediate-sized projects. In this position, the Engineering Design Change Manager will execute Fluor's scope of work in accordance with contract requirements and will interface with client representatives, including project, planning, process, and instrument engineers, as well as operations and maintenance teams to ensure alignment with contract expectations. Additionally, the manager will collaborate with Fluor's discipline engineers to create interdisciplinary drawings and specifications, ensuring that all aspects of the project are integrated effectively. Other duties may be assigned as necessary to support project goals and objectives. The role requires a proactive approach to managing change, responding to challenges in a timely manner, and maintaining effective communication with various stakeholders, including management, coworkers, clients, vendors, and contractors. The Engineering Design Change Manager must possess a strong technical knowledge base relevant to the job and be able to apply local, state, and federal guidelines effectively. Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under time constraints are essential for success in this role.
