About the position

The Director of Engineering is a key leadership role responsible for guiding the engineering department to align with the organization's goals, values, and mission. This position involves leading a team of engineers, managing budgets, and ensuring the successful execution of engineering projects while adhering to best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Designers, Project Engineers, and Installation Technicians.
• Manage and allocate department budgets.
• Create and implement engineering strategies.
• Supervise projects from planning to completion.
• Ensure adherence to engineering best practices during project execution.
• Recruit and hire engineers for the department.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders across the company.
• Revise and update department policies and procedures.
• Provide account management, solutions, quotes, and project management.

Requirements

• Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Bring at least 8 years of management experience.
• Demonstrate proven expertise in engineering leadership and project management.
• Possess proficiency in engineering software and project management tools.
• Have exceptional communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with international teams.
• Show strong problem-solving abilities and a genuine passion for innovation.
