About the position

The Automation Engineer position is a mid-level role focused on engineering tasks related to automation systems. Responsibilities

• Generate project documentation for requirements and testing
• Perform engineering tests and test protocol shakedown
• Perform formal verification testing
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues related to test failures and generate potential solutions

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related STEM Major
• 5 years or more of relevant experience
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word
• Able to manipulate data using Excel
• Basic knowledge of networks and remote connectivity
• Ability to follow detailed test protocols using good documentation practices (GDP)
• Ability to work independently

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Rockwell PLC/DCS systems, Logix 5000, FT View, PlantPAx
• Familiarity with GAMP 5 (V-Model) documentation
• Experience in verification test planning and execution
• Cross-functional teamwork, coordination, and communication skills
