About the position

The Engineering (Infrastructure & Compliance) Assistant at Unilever will manage the end-to-end delivery of projects for various Ice Cream brands across multiple sites. This role involves assessing existing and future factory expansions, collaborating with engineering teams and consultants, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The position is critical for driving improvements in project delivery and stakeholder engagement, contributing to the overall success of the Ice Cream business as it transitions to a standalone entity.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of assigned capital projects adhering to Unilever standards.
  • Work collaboratively with various departments to clarify project briefs and understand work scope.
  • Develop Project Execution Plans and schedules, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Manage site construction, contractors, and ensure compliance with Unilever Construction Safety Standards.
  • Assist in identifying enhancements in factory operations and infrastructure efficiencies.

Requirements

  • 3+ years' experience in Project Engineering, preferably in FMCG.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a project management role.
  • Professional engineering skills and project delivery experience.
  • Experience managing project budgets.

Nice-to-haves

  • Firsthand experience delivering major capital projects in the Ice Cream category.
  • Leadership experience and critical SOL (Standards of Leadership) behaviors.
