About the position
The Engineering Intern position at Capital Resin Corporation (CRC) offers a full-time opportunity for engineering students during the Summer Semester of 2025. Interns will work hands-on with engineers, operations, maintenance, and safety teams in a manufacturing environment, gaining valuable experience while contributing to various engineering projects. This role is designed for self-motivated individuals who are eager to learn and apply their skills in a real-world setting, particularly in chemical manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Support engineering, maintenance, and production projects as needed.
- Assist in improving the operator training program.
- Update and standardize process safety information.
- Process historian data for analysis and reporting.
- Create standardization of various maintenance-related tasks.
- Travel to the Detroit facility as required.
Requirements
- Must be a 2nd or 3rd year student majoring in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
- Ability to work closely with Operators, Technicians, and Engineering resources.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
- Willingness to travel to the Detroit facility as needed.
- Self-motivated with a strong attention to detail.

- Experience in chemical manufacturing environments.
