About the position

The Engineering Maintenance Technician is responsible for the preventative maintenance of hotel suites, public spaces, and all related equipment. This role requires a basic understanding of various technical skills including plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, HVAC, and landscaping, ensuring that the hotel facilities are well-maintained and operational.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on hotel suites and public spaces.
• Conduct repairs related to plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC systems.
• Respond to emergency situations on short notice.
• Document and administer preventive maintenance programs.
• Maintain a work order system and complete work orders in a timely manner.
• Assist in the implementation and monitoring of the hotel key control system.
• Work with the Chief Engineer on technical and skilled projects within the hotel.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and landscaping.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to drive a company van.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Good work history and stability.
• Service-oriented and detail-oriented mindset.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Basic computer skills.
