About the position

The Engineering Manager for Integration Competency at Vuori, Inc. is responsible for leading the Integration Competency team, focusing on the design and development of integration solutions using Azure technologies. This role requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in engineering design principles, API management, and cloud-based architectures. The manager will oversee a team of integration engineers, ensuring the delivery of scalable, secure, and high-quality integration solutions that align with business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of integration solutions using Azure services, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
• Architect and implement microservice-based integration solutions that connect systems like ERP, WMS, e-commerce, and CRM.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership in troubleshooting complex integration issues and optimizing performance.
• Manage, mentor, and guide a team of integration engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical designs.
• Oversee integration projects from concept to implementation, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to standards.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation, including integration patterns and data flow diagrams.
• Drive continuous improvement in integration architecture, adopting the latest technologies and DevOps practices.
• Ensure compliance with security, governance, and regulatory standards across all integration points.
• Proactively identify potential integration risks and implement solutions to mitigate issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; Master's Degree is a plus.
• 6+ years in software engineering with a focus on integration projects using Azure technologies.
• At least 2+ years in a Senior role leading a team with successful project management experience.
• Proven ability to develop API standards and reusable integration patterns.
• In-depth knowledge of integration patterns, APIs, middleware technologies, and cloud-based architectures, particularly Azure.
• Expertise in security best practices for cloud environments.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies and experience with Azure DevOps tools.
• Outstanding problem-solving capabilities with a strategic approach to challenges.
• Expertise in Clean Code principles and design patterns.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with SQL, Cosmos DB, and Data Lakes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated monitoring.
