About the position

As an Engineering Manager at Ironclad, you will lead a team of engineers to innovate and enhance the digital contracting platform. Your role involves managing team dynamics, fostering a culture of technical excellence, and delivering impactful roadmaps in collaboration with product managers and designers. You will also represent Ironclad to clients and contribute to organizational improvements, ensuring high-quality product development that meets the needs of both modern companies and Fortune 500 clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of engineers to build the future of digital contracting.
• Foster a culture of technical excellence and innovation within the team.
• Develop and deliver an impactful product roadmap in partnership with product managers and designers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project goals and vision.
• Fix organizational issues and contribute to process improvements.
• Represent Ironclad to prospects and customers, showcasing the product's value.
• Work with quality engineers to define and maintain testing strategies.
• Provide feedback and mentorship to team members.
• Participate in recruiting and interviewing talented engineers.

Requirements

• 2+ years of technical leadership or management experience in software engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in architecting, building, launching, and maintaining complex systems.
• Strong passion for software engineering and delivering high-quality products.
• Excellent cross-team communication and collaboration skills.
• A high bar for quality and a commitment to mentoring and knowledge sharing.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with TypeScript, ReactJS, Docker containers, and Kubernetes on Google Cloud Platform.
