About the position

The Robotics Engineer Manager for Isaac Robotics Applications and Services will lead a team focused on developing AI-enabled robots capable of performing complex tasks in various environments. This role involves defining the roadmap for robotics applications, driving architecture and integration, and collaborating with other teams to enhance robot capabilities. The manager will also mentor engineers and oversee project deliveries, ensuring the successful deployment of innovative robotics solutions.

Responsibilities

• Define the roadmap for building reference robotics applications and services using NVIDIA technology.
• Drive the architecture, integration, and design of reference applications and services.
• Support the development of component products used in applications.
• Collaborate with other Isaac teams to deploy and validate capabilities on physical robots and cloud.
• Supervise and support the team through hands-on design and code reviews in C++, Python, and Pytorch.
• Define deliveries and work packages, synchronizing missions and dependencies across teams.
• Mentor and supervise a team of robotics engineers.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant full stack robotics integration experience.
• At least 3 years of experience managing a robotics team.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on experience with real-time autonomous system projects (robotics, autonomous driving, etc.).
• Experience in architecting and deploying robotics and machine learning applications in embedded platforms and cloud services.
• Proven project and team management experience.
• Excellent communication, analysis, and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Background in integrating robotics and service technologies in large-scale simulations and edge platforms.
• Prior experience shipping autonomous robot products and services.
