About the position

The Engineering Manager for the Business Integrity team at TikTok will lead efforts in developing and implementing advanced machine learning models, particularly focusing on AIGC technologies. This role is pivotal in enhancing content understanding for commercial products and building a monetization ecosystem that prioritizes user experience and advertiser value. The position requires a blend of technical expertise, team management, and cross-disciplinary collaboration to drive innovation and excellence in machine learning applications.

Responsibilities

  • Explore foundation models and Generative AI and their application in business, including text generation/translation, image-to-text, deepfake, and efficient training/inference for AIGC models.
  • Lead the team to implement AIGC technologies to content understanding of commercial products such as ads, e-commerce, short videos, and live streaming.
  • Responsible for project planning, team building, and cross-team collaboration of the large-scale model algorithm team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
  • More than 5 years of experience in algorithm research and development, with over 1 year in team management.
  • Solid programming foundation and familiarity with basic data structures and algorithms.
  • Rich experience in computer vision or NLP-related tasks, proficient with AIGC algorithms, and experience in developing AIGC models at scale.
  • Ability to keep up with cutting-edge technologies and provide tech design and long-term roadmaps for the team.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
