About the position

As the Engineering Manager, you will lead the engineering team in overseeing various projects within the hotel, ensuring exceptional customer service and efficient operations. This role involves managing the maintenance and repair of the property, machinery, and equipment, while fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the overall maintenance and upkeep of the hotel.
• Manage all maintenance projects and ensure timely completion of preventative maintenance.
• Direct and assign responsibilities to maintenance staff as needed.
• Collaborate closely with the General Manager and Operations Manager to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

• 3 to 4 years of Engineering Supervisor or Management experience in a brand hotel or similar environment.
• Bilingual speaking is a plus.
• Government required licenses, certificates, or permits are a plus.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's Degree or Technical School experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail.
• Open availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to repair and maintain various pieces of building and grounds equipment.
• Ability to operate mechanical equipment and various tools.
• Excellent English communication skills, able to read, write, and speak fluently.
