About the position

The Engineering Manager (Power Systems) will lead and manage a team of professionals in the Power Systems, Transmission & Distribution sectors, focusing on delivering safe and cost-effective engineering services for major Utilities and Renewable Energy projects. This role balances leadership responsibilities with direct client project work, ensuring high-quality service delivery and business performance.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and management support to Power Systems, Transmission & Distribution professionals.
• Manage direct reports effectively.
• Balance leadership responsibilities with direct client project work as needed.
• Establish and maintain processes for project tracking, quality control, financial management, and personnel development.
• Ensure continuity of Business Performance through client development and revenue-generating activities.

Requirements

• Skilled in project management principles.
• Registered Professional Engineer in multiple states by NCEES.
• 8-10 years of experience in electrical utility experience, within Transmission Planning, Power Systems Studies or Distribution.
