About the position

NVIDIA is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead the Bring Ups in the Sanity Engineering Team within the IPP Group. This role involves building and managing a skilled engineering team, collaborating with various departments to define and implement features and processes, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The position offers the opportunity to work on innovative projects and contribute to the advancement of AI and GPU technology.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a highly skilled and motivated engineering team focused on bring ups and automation.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, and Customer Program Management teams to define, prioritize, and implement features, infrastructure, processes, and workflows.
• Identify potential weaknesses in current processes and propose actions for improvement.
• Develop a roadmap of work that aligns with sprint plans for execution.
• Support technological growth opportunities within the company.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of management experience in large, cross-matrix, and geo-dispersed technology organizations.
• Strong experience in Product Engineering with 10+ years of overall experience.
• Deep understanding of computer architecture and operating system fundamentals.
• Strong experience in building CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent automation experience including managing automation frameworks.
• Strong collaborative and interpersonal skills with a proven track record of guiding diverse teams.
• Experience with software delivery using Python, Java, or similar technologies.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with container and virtualization technologies such as Docker, KVM, and Xen.
• Background with Machine Learning and Data Analytics and their application.
• Ability to design and create tools to reduce manual work.
• Fast learning ability and ability to keep up with industry trends.
