About the position

The Engineering Operations Manager will oversee the engineering operations of a new product, focusing on optimizing processes, enhancing productivity, and ensuring alignment with business goals. This role involves leading a team of engineers, fostering collaboration and innovation to drive successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage engineering operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in project delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement engineering processes and best practices.
• Monitor project progress and performance, providing guidance and support to engineering teams as needed.
• Analyze data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance operations.
• Oversee resource allocation and planning to ensure optimal utilization of engineering talent and tools.
• Facilitate communication between engineering teams and other departments to align project objectives with business goals.
• Manage the engineering project lifecycle, from planning through execution and delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering operations or project management.
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles, operations management, and process improvement methodologies.
• Proficiency in SQL, BPM, Oracle, and RDBMS.
• Experience with software design frameworks such as MVC and MVVM.
• Familiarity with web technologies including JavaScript, JQuery, Bootstrap, XML, HTML, and CSS.
• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Proficient in using project management tools such as GIT, JIRA, and Confluence.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
