Cox Communications is searching for an Engineering Operations Senior Analyst who will work across Engineering/Product groups and Operational teams, playing a critical role in analyzing business processes to identify potential areas of improvement and driving solutions to optimize performance. This role will engage cross-functionally with other technical and engineering teams to define and document requirements, develop concepts, and validate solutions against original business needs. The successful candidate will ensure that all systems function End to End in support of Network Enablement, Operational Enablement, and Product Enablement phases. The Engineering Operations Senior Analyst will drive E2E delivery, integration, certification, and operational readiness for the PON platform. This role is accountable and responsible for project concept through trial and certification across Network, Product, and Operational Enablement phases. Common deliverables typically include the business requirements document (BRD) and associated lifecycle management tools/processes, project charter, scope definition, work activities, project schedule, PoaP (Plan on a Page), RAID log, change management, communications plan, resource plan, project budget, operational readiness plan, status updates, reporting, and tracking. The analyst will utilize industry-recognized PM knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques to achieve a project's stated objectives. In this position, the analyst will collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to analyze business needs and translate them into detailed requirements while understanding cost, performance, and scalability considerations. They will manage the business requirements lifecycle across the delivery portfolio, ensuring centralization, standardization, and version control of requirements documentation artifacts. Serving as a liaison between business owners and technical teams, the analyst will ensure clear communication and understanding of business objectives, validate capability delivery against original business intent, and lead all technical delivery activities related to Network Enablement, Operational Enablement, and Product Enablement. The role also involves developing leadership communications, maintaining detailed project schedules, tracking key project milestones, and adjusting project plans and resources to meet business needs. The analyst will build strong relationships with key stakeholders and project resources to drive key decisions and ensure timely project completion. Projects typically have a cycle of 1-3 years and can significantly affect operational results and the efficiency of a team. The analyst may also provide guidance and direction to more junior business analysts, delivery leads, and project managers.
