Cox Communications is seeking an Engineering Operations Senior Analyst to play a pivotal role in enhancing business processes across Engineering, Product, and Operational teams. This position is essential for analyzing current operations and identifying areas for improvement, ultimately driving solutions that optimize performance. The successful candidate will engage with various technical and engineering teams to define and document requirements, develop concepts, and validate solutions to ensure they meet original business needs. The Engineering Operations Senior Analyst will be responsible for ensuring that all systems function seamlessly from end to end, supporting Network Enablement, Operational Enablement, and Product Enablement phases. This role encompasses the entire project lifecycle, from concept through trial and certification, across Network, Product, and Operational Enablement phases. Key deliverables include the Business Requirements Document (BRD), project charters, scope definitions, project schedules, and various management tools such as RAID logs and change management plans. The analyst will utilize industry-standard project management knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques to achieve project objectives effectively. In this role, the analyst will collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to analyze business needs, translating them into detailed requirements while considering cost, performance, and scalability. They will manage the business requirements lifecycle, ensuring centralization, standardization, and version control of documentation artifacts. Acting as a liaison between business owners and technical teams, the analyst will ensure clear communication and understanding of business objectives. They will also validate capability delivery against original business intent by leading solution design reviews and user acceptance testing. The analyst will lead all technical delivery activities related to Network, Operational, and Product Enablement, including project scope, implementation plans, schedules, and budgets. Regular communication with stakeholders through briefing decks and status reports will be essential to keep all parties informed of project progress and risks. The role requires building strong relationships with key stakeholders and project resources to drive decisions and ensure timely project completion. Projects typically span 1-3 years and can significantly impact business units or the entire company. The analyst may also provide guidance to junior business analysts and project managers, ensuring that complex technologies and components are verified and aligned with business goals.
