Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of engineers and technicians, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve QDIP goals, focusing on quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity.
  • Drive operational excellence across all aspects of the operation, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes.
  • Utilize lean manufacturing principles and Kaizen methodologies to drive continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the design, installation, and maintenance of manufacturing systems and processes.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of operational goals and objectives.
  • Monitor and report on key operational metrics, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest manufacturing technologies and trends.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role in the manufacturing industry.
  • Proven experience in achieving QDIP goals.
  • Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and Kaizen methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team of engineers and technicians.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, analyze data, and develop and implement solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with other departments.
  • A commitment to operational excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Experience in process improvement, with a track record of implementing changes that increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Knowledge of the latest manufacturing technologies and trends.
