The Engineering PLC ElectroMechanical Systems Design Build Engineer position involves designing and building electronic control systems for essential industries. Responsibilities

  • Design and build PLC-based electronic control systems for industrial applications.
  • Coordinate with internal and external departments to ensure project success.
  • Research and implement new technologies related to electronic control systems.
  • Read and interpret electrical diagrams and documentation.
  • Write systems documentation including how-to guides and reference manuals.
  • Manage customer relationships and ensure high levels of customer service.
  • Work closely with technical customers to adjust specifications based on project needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or similar field preferred.
  • Experience in PLC programming and ladder logic.
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP and network integration for control systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and one-line diagrams.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with AutoCAD for electrical design.
  • Familiarity with control systems software such as WonderWare or iFix.
  • Knowledge of contract terms and service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Experience coordinating field engineering system startups and cutovers.
