About the position

The Engineering Program Coordinator at Kforce Inc. is responsible for managing engineering programs by coordinating multiple projects across various engineering disciplines. This role focuses on ensuring that program deadlines are met and that day-to-day functions are executed effectively. The coordinator will work closely with engineering management to enhance program efficiency and apply foundational engineering principles to support team efforts.

Responsibilities

• Manages engineering programs through coordination of multiple projects across various engineering disciplines.
• Ensures deadlines are achieved and day-to-day functions of the program and related projects are executed as required.
• Coordinates activities through direct and indirect staff.
• Works with engineering management to identify and improve overall efficiency of the program.
• Applies foundational principles, theories, and concepts to assignments of limited scope.
• Utilizes professional concepts and theoretical knowledge acquired through specialized training, education, or previous experience.
• Exercises independent judgment within defined parameters.
• Develops expertise and practical knowledge of applications within the business environment.
• Acts as a team member by providing information, analysis, and recommendations in support of team efforts.

Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree related to engineering or substantial work experience (4-6 years).
• Experience with project or team management.
