About the position

The Engineering Program Lead at Citadel Enterprise Americas Services LLC is responsible for developing and implementing business architecture design solutions for the firm's trading and hedge fund administration systems. This role involves defining and tracking project milestones, deliverables, and risks while liaising between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure that business needs are accurately translated into functional designs. The position also includes creating and executing test plans, preparing project communications, and coordinating the production rollout of applications.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement business architecture design solutions for trading and hedge fund administration systems.
  • Define and track project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issue lists.
  • Liaise between business stakeholders and technical development teams to document business needs and system requirements.
  • Translate business needs into functional designs.
  • Create and execute test plans including user acceptance testing and test cases.
  • Prepare reports and project communications for weekly status reports and monthly steering committee meetings.
  • Coordinate production rollout of applications according to set schedules and provide post go-live support and user training.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Mathematics or a related field and 5 years of experience with business analysis or project management in the financial services industry.
  • In lieu of a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in the stated fields and 5 years of experience, will also accept a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in any field plus 6 years of experience with business analysis or project management in the financial services industry.
  • 2 years of experience serving as a Scrum Master and facilitating organizational adoption of Scrum and Agile methodologies.
  • 2 years of experience scaling Agile and utilizing Agile tools including JIRA, Confluence, and Atlassian.
  • 2 years of experience working on custom software development projects related to the trading lifecycle, investment management, financial markets, and complex asset classes including fixed income and derivatives.
