About the position

The Apple Services Engineering (ASE) team is seeking a hands-on program manager to drive and ship large, multi-functional programs and feature areas. This role involves requirements analysis, functional and technical design discussions, testing, and collaboration with various partners. The ideal candidate will take responsibility for successful outcomes, communicate effectively, and thrive in a dynamic environment, ensuring the delivery of innovative products that serve millions of customers worldwide.

Responsibilities

  • Drive and ship large, multi-functional programs and feature areas
  • Lead all aspects of multiple concurrent features including scope, requirements, timelines, and prioritization
  • Program manage day-to-day execution, risk assessments to meet overall program goals
  • Foster collaboration across a broad team of cross-functional partners to formulate roadmap and manage intake pipeline
  • Play an active role in improving how features are built and executed in the Apple Services Engineering organization
  • Help set the strategy and communicate status and issues to stakeholders at all levels
  • Collaborate with Design, Engineering, Data Science, QA, Legal, Finance, Privacy, Anti-Fraud, Business Operations and other organizations to develop and improve Apple Services Engineering's suite of features

Requirements

  • 5+ years of program or technical project management experience
  • Experience taking features through the complete software development life cycle
  • Strong technical proficiency, particularly in Search and Recommendations
  • Knowledge of A/B testing
  • Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and logical structuring abilities
  • Ability to turn incomplete, conflicting, or ambiguous input into solid action plans
  • Consistent track record of shipping complex customer-facing and backend engineering projects under demanding timelines
  • Strong facilitation skills for requirements sessions, design meetings, and progress/status meetings
  • Best-in-class communication and presentation skills to all levels of an organization
  • BS/BA Degree and/or MBA preferred
