Job Description: Structural Integrity Associates, Inc. (SIA) has an opening for anearly career Engineering Program Manager. The Program Manager willlead qualification projects for blast, wind, and seismic loading onmechanical and electrical equipment and other non-structuralcomponents. They will assist the company's clients in obtainingInternational Building Code (or other relevant standard) productcertification based on analysis and/or testing under thesupervision of a licensed structural engineer. The Manager may alsohave the opportunity to participate in engineering analysis anddesign with other divisions of the company in nuclear, healthcare,dams and waterways, defense, and protective/blast practiceareas.Primary Responsibilities: Oversee certification programs including full-scale shake tabletesting of equipment (including travel to labs) Direct client interactions Prepare quotes and proposals for clients Develop reports and supporting documentation for IBC seismicand wind compliance Review product information provided by manufacturers tounderstand product variations Coordinate and delegate project tasks to CertificationEngineers Coordinate and schedule laboratory testing Manage project budgets, expenses, and schedules Evaluate non-standard structural members and equipmentcomponents Structural analysis of equipment and nonstructural systems forwind and seismic loading Design anchorage for nonstructural components Required Skills/Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in relevant industries BS in Civil, Structural, Mechanical or related engineeringdiscipline from an ABET-accredited university Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification Demonstrated academic or professional experience using handcalculations and/or structural analysis computer software tocalculate demands and capacities of structural systems Self-motivated and eager to learn Excellent written and oral communication skills Willingness and ability to travel (up to 20% of time) Desired: MS/MEng in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or relatedengineering discipline from an ABET accredited university Licensed professional engineer in Civil or MechanicalEngineering Proficient in ANSYS, ABAQUS, SAP2000, LS-DYNA, Matlab, Mathcad,AutoCAD/Revit, Solidworks or other similar software Computer programming skills related to database constructionand querying, signal processing, or task automation Knowledge of seismic analysis, code-based steel and concretedesign, blast analysis, nonlinear structural analysis Salary Information: The expected salary range for this role in SanDiego, CA is $85,000 - $127,600 annually.
