About the position

The Engineering Project Lead Technical Expert at Schneider Electric will lead a multidisciplinary team on medium to large projects within the Prefabricated Data Center sector. This role involves providing engineering solutions, developing engineering drawings, and ensuring client needs are met through effective project management and technical expertise. The position emphasizes collaboration with sales teams and clients to deliver energy solutions while maintaining long-term relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multidisciplinary team on medium and large projects.
• Provide preliminary analysis and development of engineering drawings for energy solutions.
• Work with solutions sales teams and potential customers to help qualify customer needs and potential energy solutions.
• Perform design improvements primarily to support upgrades and efficient solutions in conjunction with client needs.
• Provide engineering cost estimates and bid proposals.
• Manage project timeline commitments to customers and ensure long-term client relationships.

Requirements

• 3+ years of Design Engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering plus 5+ years of progressive work experience preferred.
• Licensed as (or eligible for licensing as) a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with a recognized association of professional engineers.
• Senior-level experience leading a multidisciplinary team on medium- to large-scale projects.
• Experience working independently and covering the responsibilities of project engineering and technical expert.
• Experience with project engineering proposals, project development, and customer presentations.
• Experience in the development of technical documents and drawings, preparation of material estimates for bids, and technical evaluation of vendor offers.
