About the position
The Engineering Project Lead at Schneider Electric is a senior-level role responsible for leading multidisciplinary teams on medium to large-scale projects within the Prefabricated Data Center sector. This position involves providing engineering solutions, managing project timelines, and ensuring long-term client relationships while delivering energy solutions that meet customer needs.
Responsibilities
- Lead a multidisciplinary team on medium and large projects.
- Provide preliminary analysis and development of engineering drawings for energy solutions.
- Work with solutions sales teams and potential customers to help qualify customer needs and potential energy solutions.
- Perform design improvements primarily to support upgrades and efficient solutions in conjunction with client needs.
- Provide engineering cost estimates and bid proposals.
- Manage project timeline commitments to customers and ensure long-term client relationships.
Requirements
- 3+ years of Design Engineering experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 5+ years of progressive work experience preferred.
- Licensed as (or eligible for licensing as) a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.).
- Senior-level experience leading a multidisciplinary team on medium- to large-scale projects.
- Experience with project engineering proposals, project development, and customer presentations.
- Experience in the development of technical documents and drawings.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in Power Systems, Mechanical HVAC Systems, Fire Suppression Systems, and Prefabricated Structures.
- Experience with IT Infrastructure.
